Ingredients
- 3 generous cups of rolled oats
- 1/4 cup oat bran
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup unsweetened dry coconut flakes
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds (or other chopped nuts)
- 1/4 cup extra light tasting olive oil
- 1/4 cup Agave nectar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, toss all the dry ingredients together.
- In a small bowl, whisk oil, Agave nectar and vanilla extract and pour over the dry mixture. Stir until well distributed.
- Spread the granola on a large baking sheet with rims. Bake for 10 minutes. Stir the granola to keep it baked evenly after 5 minutes in the oven.
- Let cool completely and store in an air tight container.
