The other night, my husband came home from dinner with friends at our favorite local French restaurant
Garcon, and handed me this box.
Inside was a wonderful treat. Foie Gras and, apricot compote, both made by our friend and chef Anthony Lemortellec. I saved it for lunch the next day, and boy was it fantastic - mouth-gasm worthy, in fact. He was kind enough to include half of a baguette, which I toasted on the panini maker, and some toasted almonds. A delicious harmony of flavors.
