This is one of the most beautiful songs I have heard.
The poetry of the lyrics and the heartbreaking emotion, along with Fiona Apple's amazing voice, bring me to tears every time.
I can almost smell the air in New York, in the early fall, when I look at this video. I remember walking for hours there late at night, with just my thoughts to keep me company. This is a song for that time of the night, when it is dark and the world is quiet, and you are alone.
